Mrs. Flowers invited Maya to her house to have a conversation and explained that although Maya’s school work was fantastic, she need to talk. Mrs. flower discussed and stressed to Maya that spoken language is essential to life. After a while, Mrs. Flower sent Maya home with books expecting her to read then aloud. Maya finally regained the will to speak and felt very special at being notices and taught by Mrs. Flowers.
