While alcohol is the 3rd leading cause of death in US causing almost 88000 deaths annually more common in men than women.Thus it makes the statement true that more than four times as many Americans die from tobacco-related illnesses such as cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and cancer as those that die from alcohol and illicit drug related problems.
