Explanation:

The American Revolution was a source of inspiration to many countries all over the world. The war was one of the first revolutions (though not the first) to implement Enlightenment ideals to their political plans. The revolutionaries promised changes that were going to bring Enlightenment values into place, such as freedom, justice, equality and natural rights. Some of the revolutions that were inspired by these ideas were the French Revolution and the Latin American wars of independence.
