Answer:

The answer is (1, 6/5, 5/4)

Step-by-step explanation:

So to figure this out, if fractions aren't your thing I would recommend turning these into decimals!

To do this you would.....

divide 6 by 5. 6/5= 1.20

Then

divide 5 by 4. 5/4= 1.25

So now put them in order.

1 is smaller than 1.20 and 1.25.

So 1 is first. Then 1.20 is smaller than 1.25 so 1.20 would go after 1. Lastly 1.25 goes after 1 and 1.20 because 1.25 is the biggest.

I hope this helps!!

Are these correct? If not please help me write the correct answer.
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

Mostly correct

For Q3, you are doing great, you remembered that negative numbers can happen if the exponent is an odd number.

For Q4, I think you were confused with the fractions,

4(i)

(\frac{2}{3} )^{4} = (\frac{2^{4}}{3^{4}}) = (\frac{16}{81}) =0.198

4(ii) is also wrong but I'll let you try to fix it yourself following what I given you for 4(i). You should get 1/64

Hope this helps!

a football team gains 8 yards in one play, loses 5 yards in the next. What is the teams total yardage for the two plays
Ann [662]
The team gained a total of 3 yards.  That is because they first gained 8 (0 + 8), then lost 3 (8 - 3).
