The monument conveys a message of peace through its lack of guns, swords, and other weaponry. It does not show soldiers fighting or dying, but has the peaceful image of an angel. It also conveys a message of peace through the intent of Mrs. Caldwell, who wanted to show peace by dedicating the statues to both sides of the Civil War and not just one.

Vroom's expectancy theory expect that behavior results from cognizant decisions among options whose reason it is to amplify joy and to limit pain. Vroom understood that a worker's execution depends on singular factors, for example, identity, aptitudes, information, experience and capacities. He expressed that exertion, execution and inspiration are connected in a man's inspiration. He utilizes the factors Expectancy, Instrumentality and Valence to represent this.

The government should make laws that protect the citizens from hurting themselves and or others (for obvious reasons).
Most laws are needed but some laws are just silly such as: in Alabama it is illegal to carry an ice-cream cone in your back pocket, in Maine you can't tickle a woman with a feather duster, in Utah you can't carry a violin in a paper bag, in Tennessee you can't sell hollow logs, in Kansas you can't serve wine in teacups, in California you can't ride a bike in a pool, in Connecticut pickles must bounce to be considered actual pickles, and in wiscomsin you cant serve apple pie without cheese (these are all real, you should look them up).
People can be counted on to scoff at these laws or even be unaware of their existence.
