Answer:

Rounding decimals is very similar to rounding other numbers. If the hundredths and thousandths places of a decimal is forty-nine or less, they are dropped and the tenths place does not change.

Step-by-step explanation:

Example: rounding 0.813 to the nearest tenth would give 0.8

Example: rounding 0.572 to the nearest tenth would give 0.6

If the number is higher then 5 you will round up if it is lower it will stay the same

Hope this helps

  • Cricket = 55%
  • Football = 30%
  • Other games = Remaining (?)

So, the percent of people who like <u>other games</u> equals:

= 100 – (55 + 30)

= 100 – 85

= 15%

<u>If </u><u>the </u><u>total </u><u>no.</u><u> </u><u>of.</u><u> </u><u>people</u><u> </u><u>is </u><u>6</u><u>0</u><u>,</u><u>0</u><u>0</u><u>,</u><u>0</u><u>0</u><u>0</u>:

★ Cricket

= 60,00,000 × 55/100

= 33,00,000

★ Football

= 60,00,000 × 30/100

= 18,00,000

★ Other sports

= 60,00,000 × 15/100

= 9,00,000
