Read the following hypothetical case and answer the question that follows (there is no one correct answer): Cindy and Clowie hav

e a dispute regarding ownership of a dog, Rascal. Cindy removed Rascal's tags in order to give him a bath. Knowing what was coming, Rascal made a run for it and ended up at Clowie's home down the street. When Cindy saw Clowie walking Rascal, she demanded his return. Clowie refused. A lawyer in the neighborhood suggested either an early neutral case evaluation or a mediation in an attempt to resolve the feud. Describe mediation and neutral case evaluation. Which would you suggest and why? Or do you suggest a different approach--if so, why?

A mediation is an interactive process in which two parties try to resolve a conflict. This method requires the help of a mediator, who is an impartial third party who is specialized in the resolution of conflict through methods such as communication and negotiation techniques.

On the other hand, a neutral case evaluation is a process in which a neutral person examines the evidence and gives his opinion on the case. This is a relatively quick and easy procedure that can help both parties manage their expectations.

I would recommend a mediation in this case. It is clear that both parties have great interest in the dog. However, it is also likely that both parties would want to benefit the dog more than themselves. Because of this, I believe that they would be more open to talking and discussing alternatives. Through mediation, it could be possible for both parties to be reasonably satisfied with the outcome.

disa [49]

1. The idea behind the concept of multiple intelligences is that human intelligence can take different "modalities," as opposed to being dominated by a single general ability. I think this is a valid construct, as it approaches the concept of "intelligence" from various different angles, not always considered when discussing intelligence in other contexts.

2. As we do not have access to this text, we are not able to answer this section of the question.

3. One way in which the developers of a test of multiple intelligences could demonstrate the validity of the test using evidence would be by also researching the behaviour of the people who took the test out in the real world. They could compare these results to the results of the test. In this way, they would be more likely to find out whether the intelligences mentioned in the test are indeed exercised in real life.

4. A passage from the Bible that could support this idea would be the following:

<em>1 Corinthians 12:12-14 – "Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptised by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many."</em>

In this passage, the idea of many parts within a single body is presented. However, it is also stated that the many parts of the body in fact end up forming a single entity. This is similar to the multiple intelligences that combine to give a single personality capable of certain things.

Why won’t the Native Americans/Indians want to give up their land ? Plz help me
Cloud [144]

there are many reasons why they did not want to give up their land. For one, their land was habitable and they had been there for many years so they did not want to leave. Two, they were being forced out of their land whether they agreed to or not. Plus, each Native American tribe had their own land that was theirs and by moving to a new place, they would be forced into someone else's land.

I hope this helps :3
