What percent is equivalent to,_, 0.82

Mathematics

The answer is 82%. To get the percentage, you use the D to P method. In this case, 82 is in the hundredths place so it shows it is a whole number and not a decimal percentage. If it was 0.08, it would be 8%. But if it was 0.435, it would be 43.5%. Basically what you do is move the decimal two times forward to get the percentage. However, if you try to find the decimal of a percentage, you do the same thing just backwards (P to D). Move the decimal two times to the left. Like 82% is 0.82 or 8% turns into 0.08. You get the idea! If it helps just think it was D two P or P two D.

The mean age of 11 women in an office is 31 years old.
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer: 30.2

Explanation:

The mean is calculated by taking the sum of the values and dividing by the count.

For instance, for the 6 women, with the mean being 31, we can see that the ages summed to 186:

186

6

=

31

And we can do the same for the men:

116

4

=

29

And now we can combine the sum and count of the men and women to find the mean for the office:

186

+

116

10

=

302

10

=

30.2

ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer:

$120.

Step-by-step explanation:

The amount he sells the tool kit for  = 80 + 20% of 80

Let m be the marked price, then

m - 0.20m = 96

0.8m = 96
