Answer:

A) 26

B)  53

C) 57

Step-by-step explanation:

Your trying to find what the missing letters equal (A, B, C), so looking at the problem there are two "total" rows so first you need to figure out the missing numbers. You don't need to worry about titles but only the "Total", the question doesn't ask to solve for any of those. So when solving depending on what number your going with so lets start with A.

This is a two way table so there is 21, 47 and 17, 43 on each side of A. So we need to solve starting with 21, 47.

T = 47

BV (Boy votes) = 21

Subtract.

47 - 21 =  26

Then we need to solve the other side 17, 43.

43 - 17 =  26

So this means the answer for A is 26.

To move this along i'm going  to solve the others for you. (Starting with B then C)

17 + 36 =  53

100 - 47 =  53

B  is 53.

Next C

21 + 36 = 57

100 - 43 = 57

C is 57.

Deffense [45]

Answer: In math, especially when learning algebra and geometry, you are more likely to a lot of deductive reasoning. That is the process of using theorems, properties of numbers and other recognized rules and procedures to solve equations, to prove geometrical constructions, congruence of angles, etc. Deductive reasoning is the foundation of most of that kind of math, so it is more important when learning and applying the principles and theorems.

Inductive reasoning involves taking specific observations and known facts and using them to make predictions and generalizations. You are more likely to use inductive reasoning when working with statistics and probability.

So both are important at some point, but it may be more important to learn deductive reasoning at first.

Find in RxR the S.S of the following pair of equation
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

(- 2, - 1 ), (2, 1 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

x - 2y = 0 → (1)

x² - y² = 3 → (2)

Rearrange (1) expressing x in terms of y by adding 2y to both sides

x = 2y → (3)

Substitute x = 2y into (2)

(2y)² - y² = 3, that is

4y² - y² = 3

3y² = 3 ( divide both sides by 3 )

y² = 1 ( take the square root of both sides )

y = ± \sqrt{1} = ± 1

Substitute these values into (3) for corresponding values of x

y = - 1 ⇒ x = 2(- 1) = - 2 ⇒ (- 2, - 1 )

y = 1 ⇒ x = 2(1) = 2 ⇒ (2, 1 )
