3 pounds for $8.31 because not only is it cheaper but you can buy more packages for less... Meaning if you were to buy 2 of the 3 pound packages than it would come out to about 17  dollars where as if you were to buy 2 of the 5 pound packages it would come out to about 25 dollars...

Sebastian ran 8.64 miles in 2.4 hours at a steady pace.
serg [7]

Sebastian ran 1.44 miles in the last 24 minutes. First, divide 8.64 by 2.4 to get 3.6 miles per hour. Since the question is asking for the last 24 minutes, divide 3.6 by 60 which gives you 0.06. Then, just multiply the rate per minute by 24 which gives you how many miles he ran in the last 24 minutes of his run.

Talja [164]

The constant rate of change of the account is $40 or Increasing by $40 per month.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Joanne is depositing money into a bank account. After 3 months there is $120 in the account. After 6 months there is $240 in the account.

Rate of change is known as how one quantity change in relation to other.

The rate of change can be calculated as:

y2-y1/x2-x1

Now use the above formula to calculated the rate of change.

240 - 120/6-3

120/3

40

Hence, the constant rate of change of the account is $40 or Increasing by $40 per month.
