Solve for X. Please explain if possible.
-8 1/4x - 68 = -6.25x - 58
AleksandrR [38]

Answer:

X=-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Start by isolating the variable to one side. So from here we would add 68 to both sides. we will be left with -8 1/4x = -6.25x+10. Then add 6,25 to both sides to cancel on and get -2x=10. Divide both sides by -2 to get x=-5

PLSSS NEED HELP WILL GIVE CROWN
Mice21 [21]

Add :

-1.25 + 2.5 = 1.25

For plotting the first one we first need to see the integer as here is 1 we will move to 1. Now, here it is given 0.25. Each line between 1 and 2 has 10 numbers gap so, as it 25 > 20 and 25 < 30. So, we should plot it between the 2nd and the 3rd line. As it is 5 it should be in between the line.

Refer the plotting for better identification

Add :

4.2 + (-0.4)

4.2 - 0.4

3.8

For plotting this one we will move to 3 than it has 8 < 10 so it should be plotted within the first dot.

Select all the levels of measurement for which data can be qualitative.a. Ratiob. Intervalc. Ordinald. Nominal
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

C.) Ordinal

D.) Nominal

Step-by-step explanation: Qualitative variables simply refers to variables of non-numeric character, nature or property. They are usually employed in assigning variables into discreet groups. The nominal and ordinal scales are employed when dealing with qualititative or categorical variables, with nominal variables used when the classes or groups involved do not follow any definite order or rank. Example include classifying sex into (male or Female), and other categorical classification of discreet nature. The ordinal scale is usually employed when dealing with ranked classifications such as level of importance[very important, Important, not so important, unimportant] or grade[distinction, excellent, very good, good, fair, poor].

Use distributive property to write an expression that is equivalent to each expression. 8(-x-1/2)
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

The distributive property teaches us how to properly multiply in examples like the answer I have given.

In my example : 2 * (4 + 12x) = 8 + 24x

We would take the 2 that is on the outside of the equation in the parenthesis and multiply it first with the 4, and then with the 12x. This results in 8 + 24x.

A simplified version would be to just remove the x.

When we do that we see that 8 + 24 is equal to 32.

What it also demonstrates is that:

2 * (4 + 12) is the same as saying 8 + 24, both equal 32.

so saying that you have to find something to be equal to your equation. hope it helps.
