The Nile benefits Egypt by providing water and fertility. It also brings a disadvantage since flooding brought destruction.

EXPLANATION

The Nile brings both benefits and disadvantages to Egypt. The Nile brings benefits as it provides fertility and water to Egypt. The Nile also brings a disadvantage because flooding from the river will bring destruction.

The Nile is a river, that is flowing in northeastern Africa. The Nile is known as the longest river in Africa and also the disputed longest river all around the world because the Brazilian government claimed that the Amazon river is longer than the Nile River.

The Nile River is about 6,650 km long. This river covers a lot of countries, such as Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Republic of Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Egypt. The Nile is used as a primary water source by Sudan and Egypt.

The White Nile and the Blue Nile are the two major tributaries of the Nile river. The White Nile is known as the primary stream and headwaters for the Nile itself. Meanwhile, the Blue Nile is the main source of the water and silt. The White Nile is longer than the Blue Nile. It rises in central Africa, specifically in the Great Lakes region. The most detached source is still undetermined, but it is located in Burundi or Rwanda.

Moreover, The Blue Nile starts in Ethiopia, specifically at Lake Tana. It also flows from the southeast to Sudan. The White Nile and the Blue Nile meet at the north of Khartoum, the Sudanese capital.
