Yvette is considering taking out a loan with a principal of $16,200 from one of two banks. Bank F charges an interest rate of 5.

7%, compounded monthly, and requires that the loan be paid off in eight years. Bank G charges an interest rate of 6.2%, compounded monthly, and requires that the loan be paid off in seven years. How would you recommend that Yvette choose her loan? a. Bank F offers a better loan in every regard, so Yvette should choose it over Bank G’s. b. Yvette should choose Bank F’s loan if she cares more about lower monthly payments, and she should choose Bank G’s loan if she cares more about the lowest lifetime cost. c. Yvette should choose Bank G’s loan if she cares more about lower monthly payments, and she should choose Bank F’s loan if she cares more about the lowest lifetime cost. d. Bank G offers a better loan in every regard, so Yvette should choose it over Bank F’s.

Hi there
First find the monthly payment of each offer to see which monthly payment is lower
The formula of the present value of annuity ordinary is
Pv=pmt [(1-(1+r/k)^(-kn))÷(r/k)]
Pv present value
PMT monthly payment
R interest rate
K compounded monthly 12
N time
Solve the formula for PMT
PMT=pv÷[(1-(1+r/k)^(-kn))÷(r/k)]

Bank F
PMT=16,200÷((1−(1+0.057÷12)^(
−12×8))÷(0.057÷12))
=210.53

Bank G
PMT=16,200÷((1−(1+0.062÷12)^(
−12×7))÷(0.062÷12))
=238.21

From the above the monthly payment of bank f is lower than the bank g
And since the lifetime of bank g is lower than bank f the answer is
b. Yvette should choose Bank F’s loan if she cares more about lower monthly payments, and she should choose Bank G’s loan if she cares more about the lowest lifetime cost.

Good luck!

I believe the answer would be inconsistent and dependent, and also inconsistent and independent. System of equations with three variables are either independent, dependent or inconsistent , each case can be established algebraically and represented graphically.

IT'S A TIME SENSITIVE EMERGENCY!!!
kap26 [50]

Complete question is missing, so i have attached it.

Answer:

Yes, they are all correct

Step-by-step explanation:

From the attached image, we see that the sign is showing;

Parking lot: ¾ miles

Summit: 1½ miles

Summit distance can also be expressed as an improper fraction = 3/2 miles

Now, since they started hiking from the park to the summit, it means that they had moved ¾ mile from the parking lot and had 3/2 miles left to get to the summit.

Thus, total distance from parking lot to summit = ¾ + 3/2 = 9/4 miles

Now, let's analyze each of their statements;

Mai said they are a third of their way there.

They had covered 3/4 mile and the total distance is 9/4 miles.

Thus, fraction of total distance covered is;

9/4 ÷ 3/4 = 1/3.

So, Mai is correct

Clare said they have to go twice as far as they had already gone.

They had covered 3/4 miles.

Therefore, twice this = 2 × 3/4 = 6/4 = 3/2 which is same as the sign distance left to the summit.

Thus, Clare is correct

Tyler said that the total hike is three times as long as what we have already gone.

They had gone 3/4 miles

3 times this = 3 × 3/4 = 9/4 miles.

This tallies with the total distance calculated earlier.

Thus, they are all correct

The length of one side of a square pond is 15 feet. The pond is surrounded by a 3 foot wide walkway. What is the total area of t
rewona [7]

Answer:

Area = 324 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Length = 15ft

Walkway = 3ft

Required

Determine the area of the pond + the walkway

To calculate the required area, we need to get the total length of a side .

This is calculated by adding the length of a side of the pond and the side of the walkway

Total Length = Pond Length + Walkway

Total Length = 15ft + 3ft

Total Length = 18ft

Now, the required area can be calculated as thus:

Area = Total Length * Total Length

Area = 18ft * 18ft

Area = 324 ft²
