You believe that the future value of the Australian dollar will be determined by purchasing power parity (PPP). You expect that
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

The expected spot rate of the Australian dollar in one year = 1.28 AUD per USD

Explanation:

The Current spot rate of Australian dollar against US Dollar

= \frac{1}{0.81} AUD /USD

= 1.234 AUD per USD.

Inflation rate in Australia = 6%

Inflation in the US = 2%

Percentage change in Australian currency

=\frac{(1+0.06)}{(1+0.02)} -1

=0.039 = 3.9 %

Thus, the spot exchange rate of AUD 1 year from now will be

(1+0.039)*1.23 = 1.28AUD per USD.

5. The International Property Right Index scores countries based on the legal and political environment and how well property ri
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

I used the most recent figures of the international property rights index (year 2019), and the most recent GDP per capita estimamtes by the IMF in purchasing power parity. (year 2019)

Three countries with high scores, with GDP per capita (PPP):

  1. Finland - score of 8.712 - U$ 46.430
  2. Switzerland - score of 8.571 - U$ 64.649
  3. United States - score of 8.202 - U$ 62.606

Three countries with low scores, with GDP per capita (PPP):

  1. Ukraine - score of 4.432 - U$ 9.283
  2. Pakistan - score of 3.874 - U$ 5.680
  3. Haiti - score of 2.703 - U$ 1.864

The pattern that we find is that there is a strong correlation between the International Property Right Index scores and the GDP per capita figures. This is consistent with the findings in other similar rankings such as the Global Competitiveness Report, published by the World Economic Forum, and the Economic Freedom Index, published by the Heritage Foundation.

What can be interpreted is that property rights, and the strong enforcement of those property rights promote economic development and growth. This is because the protection of private property stimulates human action. For example, the United States has a strong judiciary, and rule of law. In this country, people can invest their money in a project with the certainty that those invesments will not be expropriated by an arbitrary judiciary. This promotes development because investing leads to higher economic output.

Those same incentives do not exist in countries that do not enforce property rights, and that is one of the main reasons why they are poor.

Marketing Strategy Formulation
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

Marketing Strategy Formulation

Goals indicate what a business unit wants to achieve; strategy answers how to get there.

Basic generic strategies

Overall cost leadership

The business works hard to achieve the lowest costs. The problem with this strategy is that other food trucks will usually emerge with still lower costs. The real key is for Chix and Waffles to achieve the lowest costs among those competitors adopting a similar differentiation or focus strategy.

Differentiation

The business concentrates on achieving superior performance in an important customer benefit area valued by a large part of the market(s).

Focus

The business focuses on one or more narrow market segments rather than going after a large market. The food truck gets to know the needs of these segments and pursues either cost leadership or a form of differentiation within the target segments.

Goal Formulation

Goals are listed hierarchically, from most to least important. State the objectives quantitatively with a time line and a due date. Your goal at this point of your business plan is to execute the business plan in order to achieve the budgeted profits by the end of the first quarter of re-opening.

Examples

Goal #1: Achieve budgeted profits of __________ by July 31, 2021.

Strategy #1 - How are you going to do it? Develop a statement or series of statements that tell how you are going to achieve profit. Use your cost control course or purchasing course to list a series of actions that will achieve the following costs.

Actions: Food cost: __________

Bar cost: ___________

Labor cost: _________

Strategy #2

Goal #2: Achieve budgeted sales of __________ by July 31, 2021.

Strategy #1 - How are you going to do it? Develop a statement around one of the three generic strategies listed above.

Actions: Achieve cost leadership of our direct competition through ________________ (use of publicist, advertising, promotions, TV, etc.).

Strategy #2

Goal #3: Execute cultural values to embrace market to build concept loyalty and build repeat customer trial to 12 visits per quarter by July 31, 2021.

Strategy #1 – How are you going to establish a guest list and measure repeat patronage?

When building a business model canvas, the ________ is where your offering goes - how you plan to solve the pains or create the
Anastasy [175]

Answer: value proposition

Explanation:

In simple terms, a value proposition makes a case for why a customer should pick one product over another, citing the unique value the product provides over its contenders.

The Business Model Canvas value proposition provides a unique combination of products and services which provide value to the customer by resulting in the solution of a problem the customer is facing or providing value to the customer. This is the point of intersection between the product you make and the reason behind the customer’s impulse to buy it. A product can have a single value proposition or multiple value propositions.

Most start-ups fail to define their value proposition before they launch their products. This is because entrepreneurs tend to give too much credence to the ‘idea’ they have and run with it as opposed to exploring how this idea would actually perform in the market.
