What is virtue? And how does it relate to vice?

History

Answer:

Please see explanation below.

Explanation:

Virtue is a positive set of attitudes and behaviors, considered moral. A virtuous decision is the turn in a wallet full of money to the authorities, for example. A virtuous decision is to be kind to those who may not deserve it.

A vice is a negative set of attitudes and behaviors, considered immoral. Someone practicing a vice may engage in behaviors that are immoral or considered evil. Someone who practices a vice may degrade another human being.

Virtue then is something that could be in conflict with vice. Someone who was tempted to engage in something immoral, but was tugged in their conscience by their desire to be virtuous or moral, might resist the temptation in order to continue to be moral.

Hope this helps! Have an Awesome day!! :-)

THE EFFECT OF THE DEPLETION OF THE BUFFALO HAVE ON NATIVE AMERICANS.
professor190 [17]
The Native American's used Buffalo for food, as well as for housing.
The Native American's ate almost all of the buffalo- except for the heart, as this was sacred and they buried this- and as soon as the buffalo population began to decrease, this meant that food became harder to find, which ultimately, will have lead to a number of deaths.
The Native American's also used the buffalo skin (or hide) to make the outside of their teepees, which will have kept them warm in the winter, as well as keeping them safe from the elements- therefore, as soon as the buffalo started to become rarer, this meant that they had to find other means to build new teepees.
Hope this helps :)
