Answer:

68,67 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's calculate first the total area of pastry that we have.

Let A be that area.

The pastry has rectangular form so its area is:

● A = width × length

The width here is 16 and the length is 20

● A = 20 × 16

● A = 320 cm^2

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Let's calculate the are of the 20 pastry circles

Let A' be the area of one circle.

● A' = Pi × r^2

r is the radius wich is the diameter over 2.

● d/2 = 4/2 = 2 cm

● A' = Pi × 2^2

● A' = 4Pi cm^2

The area of 20 pastry circles is 20A'

● 20A'= 20 × 4 × Pi

● 20A'= 80Pi

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Let A" be the area of the remaining pastry

● A" = A-20A'

● A" = 320 - 80Pi

● A" = 68.67 cm^2

What is y= -2/3x + 5 written in standard form?
GaryK [48]

1) the standar form of the equation is ax+by = c, therefore, for y = -2/3x+5, multiply by 3 the previous equation, and its result is 3y = -2x+15⇒ 3y +2x = 15

the final result is 2x+3y = 15

Why is the mechanical advantage of using a single pulley always 1? Assume there’s no friction. A. The input force is in a differ
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

 D. The input force is equal to the output force

Step-by-step explanation:

A pulley changes the direction of the applied force, but does not change its magnitude. The mechanical advantage is the ratio of output force to input force, so must be 1 when the force magnitude does not change.

Which shows the expressions in the order they would appear on a number line from least to greatest?
Illusion [34]
c.)11 over 9, square root of 5, square root of 11, square root of 20, 2 to the power of 3

In order to compare, try to bring all of them into one similar form, like decimal.
Then, 11/9 = 1.22
Then, we can compare numbers under root, as 5 would be smaller than 11 which in turn is smaller than the 20, then 2^3 is 8, largest in series.

Hope this helps!
