It depends what that ‘something’ is, if it’s really important then yes, point it out so you don’t forget it later. If it’s something small then there is little to no need to say it

When dudley and his friend came over to see what Harry was doing, they pushed Harry, and Harry involuntarily made the glasss of the boa’s exhibit disappear because of his strong wizard emotions, freeing the boa.
