The Mayflower Compact was the first self-governing agreement to be created and implemented in America on September 16, 1620. The cause was the British ship Mayflower, who arrived from Plymouth, England with 102 passengers. Passengers were called Pilgrims.

In the opening part of the Compact, the "Pilgrims" and "Strangers" are loyal to King James. The Compact connects the signatories to the "Civil Body Politics", for the purpose of adopting equal and uniform laws for everyone, as well as for the common good of colonies. The importance of the Mayflower Compact was that it was the first democratic government established in colonies, according to which the colonists were willing to make their own laws, and committed themselves to follow them.

The other factor that led to chocolate becoming popular with Spanish royalty was that it was adapted to Spanish tastes.

Explanation:

Once Cortes brought the cocoa back to Spain and introduced it to the King, the monks in monasteries who were know to have skills at preparing medicinal products and remedies were asked to process the beans and to adapt the product to Spanish customs and taste. They added spices that were more familiar to the Spanish royalty like nutmeg and cinnamon and they sweetened it with sugar.  They also served it warm. kakasveta [241]

Answer:

According to this "Fill in the blank" modus operandi, what fits best the blank is intercultural communication.

Explanation:

The way to explain this is by affirming that there are indeed ways to produce language as well as ways to interpret it. The aforementioned statement is supported by the fact that each region that uses a language is not doing it under a standard basis, but a whole cultural identity behind it, for that reason is so valuable and important to actually be familiar with what communities get to produce and interpret when talking about language and signs.
