¿CUAL ES EL PERIMETRO DE UN RECTANGULO SABIENDO QUE SU ANCHO ES 3/4 DEL LARGO Y BEL LARGO MIDE 2,55M?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

Perímetro = 8.925 metros

Step-by-step explanation:

La formula del perímetro de un rectángulo es:

perímetro = 2(ancho + largo)

en este caso:

p = 2(a+b)

a = 3b/4

b = 2.55m

a = ancho del rectángulo

b = largo del rectángulo

entonces:

sustituyendo el valor de la segunda ecuación

p = 2((3b/4)+b)

p = 2((3b/4)+(4b/4))

p = 2(7b/4)

p = 14b/4

p = 7b/2

p = 7*2.55/2

p = 8.925m

Jasmine wants to have an equal quantity of forks and spoons, what is the least number of packages of forks jasmine should buy to
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

6 packages of forks

Step-by-step explanation:

If Jasmine wants to have an equal quantity of forks and spoons, we need to list the multiples of each quantity and determine the least common multiple (LCM).

Forks: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90

Spoons: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96

The LCM in this example is 60. In order to have exactly 60 forks and 60 spoons, Jasmine will need to buy 6 packages of forks [60 ÷ 10 = 6] and 5 packages of spoons [60 ÷ 12 = 5].

When using the vertical line test the vertical line can only go through the graph ____ times for it to be a function.
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

once

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertical line test shows how many outputs (y-value) there are for one input (x-value). There can only one output for each input because only one value should satisfy an equation that represents a function. If the vertical line  goes through the graph twice, that shows there are two outputs for a single x-value. This would mean it is not a function.

The diagram shows rectangle ABCD, with diagnal BD. What is the perimeter of rectangle ABCS, to the nearest tenth?
Natalka [10]

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 32.8 unit (Approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Hypotenuse BD = 12 unit

Angle θ = 30°

Find:

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD

Computation:

Using trigonometry function

Sin θ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

Sin 30 = CD / BD

0.5 = CD / 12

Length of CD = 6 unit

Cos θ = Base / Hypotenuse

Sin 30 = BC / BD

0.866 = BC / 12

Length of BC = 10.4 unit

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 2[Length + Width]

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 2[6 + 10.4]

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 2[16.4]

Perimeter of rectangle ABCD = 32.8 unit (Approx.)
