Sin (2x) can be written like:sin (2x) = 2sin(x)cos(x)
substituting this expresion in the original one:sin(2x) /(x*cos(x) =2sin(x)cos(x)/x*cos(x)=2sinx/x
taking limits, and noticing that lim as x->0 of sinx/x=1:lim 2sinx/x=2*1=2x->0

The cone shown has a radius of 5 inches and a slant height of 8 inches rounded into the nearest whole number what is the total s
svlad2 [7]
The formula to find the surface area is 3.14(radius)(slant) + 3.14 (radius squared). So the equation would be (3.14)(5)(8)+(3.14)(5^2) for your answer you should get 204 square inches. Hope that helped!

Solve 4 + (-3) - 2 x (-6)
A. -11
B. 12
C. -10
D. 13
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

Using PEMDAS you start with multiplication first, so -2 multiplied by -6, which is positive 12. Then you go from left to right, so 4 +-3, or 4-3, which is 1. Then 1-12 is -11. So your final answer is A, -11.

Find the circumference and area of a circle with a diameter of 14 inches. Leave your answers in terms of pi. C = 14π; A = 49π. C
Olenka [21]
Given:
diameter = 14 inches
radius = 14 inches / 2 = 7 inches

Circumference of a circle = 2 π r = 2 * π * 7inches = 14 inches * π

Area of a circle = π r² = π * (7in)² = π * 49in²

C = 14π    and   A = 49π
