Answer: financial cost

Explanation:

Alcohol addiction or alcoholism is a condition that can affect the psychological and physiological aspects of people. It is associated with the increased quantity, frequency of use of the alcohol and increased tolerance for the alcohol. The person does everything to fulfill the desire for alcohol consumption every day. The person does not think about the financial cost of the alcoholic drink while purchasing the drink to fulfill the addiction.

The following are the factors which can motivate a person to leave alcohol.

1. Being arrested: The person under the influence of alcohol can commit crimes like accidental negligence, sexual offense, and unintentional murder.

2. Being separated by the family: The person may get separated from the family due to abnormal behavior under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol consumption can become a reason for conflict among family members.

3. The shock of losing a job: The habitual alcohol consumer may remain physically and mentally disturbed. Thus such a person cannot coordinate in job-based tasks. Hence, such a person is ordered to leave the job.
