What would the founding fathers think of 113th congress?
ikadub [295]
Our Founding Fathers would be horrified and disgusted at how greatly and tragically our politics of today has strayed from their brilliant guidance. This remarkable group of 18 men dedicated their lives to create a blueprint for a nation, the first of its kind in history, of free man, something the politicians of today are seeking to dismantle.

Please help write an opinion about world war one
LiRa [457]
It was a senseless war.

Millions died, essentially, for nothing because the men who “crafted” (crafted implies workmanship and quality) the Treaty of Versailles focused more on vengeance than at addressing the root causes of the war. The treaty created a breeding ground for things that would bring on the Second World War.

That is one opinion! Have a great day :)

Why are Frederick the Great of Prussia and Catherine the Great of Russia considered "enlightened despots"?
Zolol [24]
They are considered to be enlightened despots because they still ruled absolutely, but they did implement many things that came from the west and was a part of the enlightenment philosophy. They were like benevolent dictators, they did what they wanted but it was usually a good thing for the people.
