I believe the answer is: classical conditioning

Classical conditioning happens when we pair a biologically potent stimulus  with a previously neutral stimulus. Over time, the subject would  elicit a certain type of response everytime they are faced with the natural stimulus, even without the existence of the potent stimulus.

This modification of Ralph’s behavior is the application of the principles of classical conditioning. There are two kinds of conditioning which have their differences, they are classical conditioning and operant conditioning.

EXPLANATION:

The Differences Between Classical and Operant Conditioning:

· One simple way to consider differences is to decide whether the behavior is either voluntary or involuntary.

· Classical conditioning engages in relating involuntary responses and stimuli. Whereas, operant conditioning is about relating voluntary consequences and behavior.

· In operant conditioning, students are also given a reward with inducements, while classical conditioning does not engage such encouragement. Also, keep in mind that classical conditioning is passive on the part of learners, while operant conditioning entails learners to actively engage and take some action to be rewarded or punished.

· For operant conditioning to be carried out, the subject must first exhibit behavior which can then be punished or valued. Classical conditioning, by contrast, comprise forming relationships with some sort of naturally occurring event.

· Nowadays, both operant and classical conditioning are utilized for various purposes by parents, teachers, animal trainers, psychologists, and so on. In animal conditioning, trainers can use classical conditioning by repeating the clicker sound with the taste of food. Finally, just a clicker sound will start to make the same response as the taste of food.

· In classroom settings, a teacher can utilize operant conditioning by giving tokens as gifts for good behavior. Students can send this token to get several types of prizes such as prizes or additional playtime. In each of these instances, the conditioning intends to produce a kind of behavior change.

Why are humans biologically capable of socialization?
NISA [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

Human have biological drives or impulses such as hunger, thirst, etc, rather than instincts. This absence of instincts makes humans dependent on social direction and their behaviors are amenable to such direction. The open-endedness of humans is thus the biological ground for social conformity.

The type of learning in which the consequences of behavior are manipulated to increase or decrease the frequency of the behavior
blondinia [14]

Answer:

operant conditioning

Explanation:

Operant conditioning can be defined as an associative learning process which involves reinforcing the strength of a behavior. Thus, the outcome depends on the response in operant conditioning.

A reinforcement of a desired behavior involves the process of strengthening a positive behavior being exhibited by an individual through the use of stimulus.

Hence, operant conditioning is a learning process in which the consequences of behavior are manipulated in order to increase or decrease the frequency of the behavior exhibited by an individual, or to shape an entirely new behavior in an individual.
