Qualitative variable is a categorical variable that can be classified depending on some attributes and characteristics. Quantitative variables on the other hand are variables that <span>provide numerical measures. 
Driver's license can not be measured and expressed with numbers so it is a qualitative variable. Class is a qualitative variable. Drivers is a quantitative variable, there can be 10 drivers for example. </span>
