A neat trick for this problem is that you can easily multiply 3 by a number to make it 30. (3x10=30). using the same number, multiply it by the denominator. 5x10=50. the answer is 50 (3/5 x 10/10 = 30/50 without changing the original ratio)

Answers:

y = 50

angle AOB = 100

=========================================

Explanation:

Angle x is an inscribed angle that subtends or cuts off minor arc AB. This is the shortest distance from A to B along the circle's edge.

Angle y is also an inscribed angle that cuts off the same minor arc AB. Therefore, it is the same measure as angle x. We can drag point D anywhere you want, and angle y will still be an inscribed angle and still be the same measure as x.

-------------------

Point O is the center of the circle. This is because "circle O" is named by its center point.

Angle AOB is considered a central angle as its vertex point is the center of the circle.

Because AOB cuts off minor arc AB, and it's a central angle, it must be twice that of the inscribed angle that cuts off the same arc.

This is the inscribed angle theorem.

Using this theorem, we can say the following

central angle = 2*(inscribed angle)

angle AOB = 2*(angle x)

angle AOB = 2*50

angle AOB = 100 degrees

Frank can mow lawns at a constant rate of 6/5 lawns per hour. what is the ratio of lawns to hours?
Igoryamba

Answer:

6 : 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Rate = \frac{6}{5}

But Rate is also equal to number of lawns mowed in a certain amount of time.

Since ratio should always be in terms of simple whole numbers.

If 6/5 lawns are mowed in 1 hour, then,

6 lawns will be mowed in:

=\frac{6 \times 1}{\frac{6}{5} }

= 5 hours.

therefore, 6 laws will be mowed in 5 hours.

What does 3x+2(4+6x)+113 equael
bonufazy [111]
<span>Simplifying 3x + 2(4 + 6x) = 113 3x + (4 * 2 + 6x * 2) = 113 3x + (8 + 12x) = 113 Reorder the terms: 8 + 3x + 12x = 113 Combine like terms: 3x + 12x = 15x 8 + 15x = 113 Solving 8 + 15x = 113 Solving for variable 'x'. Move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '-8' to each side of the equation. 8 + -8 + 15x = 113 + -8 Combine like terms: 8 + -8 = 0 0 + 15x = 113 + -8 15x = 113 + -8 Combine like terms: 113 + -8 = 105 15x = 105 Divide each side by '15'. x = 7 Simplifying x = 7</span>
