Answer:

A.Their means it will be most affected because this value will be an outlier.

Step-by-step explanation:

The mean is found by adding together the data points and then dividing by the number of data points.  For this reason, the mean is most affected by an outlier, or a number very different from the others.

A high outlier will make the sum of the data points higher; this in turn makes the mean higher.

A low outlier means the sum of the data points does not increase as much as it would have with other numbers; this in turn makes the mean lower.

Since 65 is much lower than the other values, it is an outlier.  Including it will affect the mean the most.

Hiya!

Right now, both of their medians are 86. This means that both will get the same median if a 65 was added.

I believe A.) would be the correct answer, given it's pretty far away from 83 or 84. My second answer would be B.), but I'm not sure.

If you found this especially helpful, I'd appreciate if you'd vote me Brainliest for your answer. I want to be able to assist more users one-on-one! :)

A pair of shoes usually sells for $62. if the shoes are 20% off and the sale tax is 5% what is the total price of shoes includin
coldgirl [10]
Given that a pair of shoes has a price of $62, and it is discounted for 20%, so this would mean that $12.4 is discounted to the original price. So the new price would be $49.6. And now, since there is a 5% tax added, $2.48 is added so the new total price would be $52.08. The answer would be option D. Hope this helps.

Eleanor and max used two rectangular wooden boards to make a set for the school play.one board was 6 feet long and the other boa
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

By definition, the area of a rectangle is:

A = w * l

Where,

w: width of the rectangle

l: length of the rectangle

The total area is given by:

A = A1 + A2

Where,

A1: rectangular wooden board 1

A2: rectangular wooden board 2

Substituting we have:

60 \frac{3}{8} = (6) (w) + (5\frac{1}{2}) (w)

Rewriting we have:

\frac{483}{8} = (6) (w) + (\frac{11}{2}) (w)

483 = 48w + 44w\\483 = 92w

w = \frac{483}{92}\\w = 5.25

 w = 5 \frac{1}{4}

Answer:

The width is given by:

w = 5 \frac{1}{4}
