Gender inequality in relationship contribute STIs including HIV and AIDS to be more among women than in men

Explanation:

The main reasons behind this are:

  1. Mostly, the women who acquire sexually transmitted infections like HIV are mostly ill-educated or less informative about health, hygiene and preventive measures.
  2. They have huge psychological barriers in front of their dominant male partners regarding safe sex practices
  3. Unequal or overpowering male dominance
  4. Sexual violation leading to unwilling sex, early child marriage, etc
  5. The physical and mental maturity level of women and their sexual behavior or their readiness towards sex, like going too early into it
  6. More financial dependence on men
  7. Increased physiological vulnerability for women to be prone to such infections
