Answer:

He needs to build 38 shelves

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of books that can be accommodated in one shelf = 34

Total number of books in the book store = 1265

Dividing the total number of books by number of books per shelf will yield the total number of shelves needed, i.e

\text{Total number of shelves}=\dfrac{\text{Total number of books}}{\text{Books per shelf}}

Putting the values,

\text{Total number of shelves}=\dfrac{1265}{34}=37.21

As the number of shelves can not be in fraction, so total number of shelves needed will be 38.

Find the value of y.<br><br> 5<br> 8<br> 4<br> 2<br><br> 50 Pts!
Vinvika [58]

Answer and Explanation:

Since this is a 30-60-90 triangle, you can use the ratio of side lengths specific to this type of triangle:

x = 4√(2)

y = 2(4) = 8

because where 4 = T,

x = T√2    and     y = 2T

so again:

x = 4\sqrt{2}\\y = 8

What is the measure of angle RSL if it is (9x+27)° and angle BSA is (6x+66)°
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

Assume:

(angle) RSB and angle (LSA) = D

and (line) ASR and (line) LSB is striaght then

(9x +27) + D = 180

(6x + 66) + D = 180

9x + D = 153

6x + D = 114

substitute

6x + D = 114

D = 114 - 6 x

9x + (114 - 6x) =153

3x = 39

x = 13

D = 114 - 6(13)

D=36
