A train's velocity is slowly decreasing as it approaches a station. About 1 km before it reaches the station, several stowaways

Answer:

It will become less negative

Explanation:

When a train moves in a direction with decreasing velocity , then it is for sure than acceleration is also decreasing. With stowaways in between before 1 KM of completion of the journey will bring the vehicle in a situation where it will have negative acceleration. Now it is given that force remains same , then with constant mass it is the acceleration which has to increase in order to justify the equation

F = m*a

Since the acceleration was already negative, an increase in acceleration will make it less negative

Why are watershed important to people?
Dmitry [639]
Watersheds are important because the surface water features and stormwater runoff within a watershed ultimately drain to other bodies of water. It is essential to consider these downstream impacts when developing and implementing water quality protection and restoration actions. Everything upstream ends up downstream.

Which of the following would not be considered a point source pollution contributor? a. an animal feedlot b. cattle on rangeland
Luden [163]
The correct answer is b: cattle on rangeland. A point source of pollution occurs from a single identifiable and usually spatially narrow source. These sources of pollution are usually relatively easily to quantify and manage. In contrast, a non-point source of pollution, such as cattle on rangeland or irrigated agriculture, is variable on both spatial and temporal scales. These sources of pollution are difficult to quantify and manage.
