The answer is 43°
Angle ADB is an inscribed angle which means arc AB has an angle twice that of angle ADB. The angle of the arc would be the same as that of the central angle AOB. So, mAOB = 86°. And since, mAOB = mBOC, then mBOC = 86° and arc BC has a measure of 86° as well. Angle BDC intercepts the arc BC which means half of the angle of arc BC is mBDC. So, mBDC = 43.

Craig has 6 bags of candy that weigh pound each. Wendy has 5 bags of candy that weigh pound each.
I am Lyosha [343]
Craig has 1 pound of more candy than Wendy does because if each bag is one pound, and if Craig has 6 bags, and Wendy has 5, then it’ll be 6-5=1.

Mr. Williams is painting only the back of his barn. A gallon of paint covers 70 square feet. How many square feet will Mr. Willi
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

Option A. 264 ft² ; 4 gallons

Step-by-step explanation:

Given question is incomplete; find the complete question in the attachment.

From the picture attached,

Area of the barn to be painted = Area of the (rectangular base + Triangular top) - Area of the window

Area of the rectangular base = 12 × 18

                                                = 216 ft²

Area of the triangular top = \frac{1}{2}(\text{Base}\times \text{Height})

                                          = \frac{1}{2}(12)(28-18)

                                          = 60 square feet

Area of the window = 3 ft × 4 ft

                                 = 12 ft²

Total area to be painted = 216 + 60 - 12

                                         = 264 ft²

∵ 70 square feet of the barn is covered by the amount of paint = 1 gallon

∴ 1 square feet will be covered by the amount = \frac{1}{70} gallons

∴ 264 square feet will be painted by = \frac{264}{70}

                                                             = 3.77 gallons

                                                             ≈ 4 gallons

Therefore, Option (A). 264 ft²; 4 gallons will be the answer.
