What is the best diagnostic label for Misha? At six years of age, she does not play with others and turns away when they approac
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

What Misha is experiencing at her early age of 6 years, is, unfortunately called Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD, and this is the answer to the question: What is the best diagnostic label for Misha.

Explanation:

Autism is a very difficult mental disorder that affects not just the mental, but also the emotional, development of a person. There are some forms of autism that may be more severe than others, and some that are easily treatable with therapy, while others require much more care.

In the case of Misha, the characteristics described here point towards Autism Spectrum Disorder, a condition that involves both the neurological and developmental aspects of the little girl. Autism Spectrum Disorder is called as such because of the wide range of symptoms and signs that the patients affected by it display. They may show symptoms that point to Aspergers, one of the least severe forms of autism, or to another, more severe type. This means that Misha is able to communicate with the world through music, specifically jingles from T.V commercials, but not through direct contact with others.
