Answer:

405 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

-well we all know that in one hour there is 60 minutes so in six hours there is going to be 360 minutes (you just multiply 60 by 6)

- and every quarter of an hour is 15 min so 3/4 would be 45 min (15 times 3)

- and then lastly all you have to do is add them up together 360 + 45 = 405min :D

Answer:

405

Step-by-step explanation:

there are 60 min in a hour so you do 6*60 and you get 360

then 3/4 of an hour is 45 mins

so you add 360 and 45 and you get 405

If the straight line passing through A(-7, -5) and B(-3, x) is parallel to another straight line of slope 2, find the value of x
Ostrovityanka [42]
X=3; you can set up a proportion using the slope equation. So (y[sub2]-y[sub1])/(x[sub2]-x[sub1])=2/1 then plug in the values and simplify. Then cross multiply and solve for x. Rest of work shown in the picture

4a+6b=10
2a-4b=12

what does 12a =?
Usimov [2.4K]
If you have at least as many equations as your have unknown variables, the 'system' is solvable (unless the equations are copies of eachother).

In this case, isolate one letter and plug it in the other. I'm going for the 2a in the bottom one (it doesn't matter)

2a - 4b = 12 => (divide by two and move the b's to the other side)

a = 6 + 2b. (plug this one into the top equation)

4(6+2b) + 6b = 10 => 24+8b+6b = 10 => 24 + 14b = 10 => 14b = -14 => b=-1

a = 6 + -2 = 4.

So a=4 and b=-1.

What is the length of BC?
MrRissso [65]

If Two Angles in a Triangle are Equal, Then Sides Corresponding to those Angles are also Equal

From the Figure, We can Notice that ∠C = ∠B

⇒ Length of AC = Length of AB

⇒ 2x - 24 = x - 2

⇒ x = 24 - 2

⇒ x = 22

The depth of a lake in cedar burg changes over time due to rain fall and evaporation this year it was 39 feet which is 25% less
Nostrana [21]

Answer:

The depth of the lake last year was 52 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

This year depth of lake = 39 feet

Let the last year depth of lake = x feet

Now,

According to question :

The depth this year is 25% less than that of last year

I.e 39 feet = x - 25% of x

Or, 39 feet = \frac{75x}{100}

or, x = \frac{3900}{75}

∴ x = 52 feet

Hence The depth of the lake last year was 52 feet Answer
