No of moles of gas = volume of gas/22.4 = 0.225/22.4 = 0.01 moles. Molar mass of gas = weight of the gas/moles of gas at STP = 1.01/0.01 = 101 g/mol.

Consider the reaction
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

D. 5.0

Explanation:

Step 1: Write the balanced equation at equilibrium

2 NO₂(g) ⇄ N₂O₄(g)

Step 2: Calculate the concentration equilibrium constant

The concentration equilibrium constant (Kc) is equal to the product of the concentrations of the products raised to their stoichiometric coefficients divided by the product of the concentrations of the reactants raised to their stoichiometric coefficients.

Kc = [N₂O₄]/[NO₂]² = 0.2 / 0.2² = 5

When an experiment is repeated and the new results are different from the original results, what could you assume to be true?
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

C since however many times you repeat an experiment, it should give the exact same results or it wouldn't be accurate enough. ex if you measure a liquid to be 77ml in USA, it should give the same when measured in Germany, same with repeating experiments.

N the experiment, we examined the melting points of naphthalene and phenol. which factor contributed the most to the difference
creativ13 [48]
Answer is: t<span>he greater size of the naphthalene molecule.
Naphthalene (C</span>₁₀H₈) has melting point 80°C and phenol (C₆H₅OH) has melting point of 40,5°C.
Naphthalene has greater molecular mass (128,17 g/mol) and greater size than phenol (<span>94,11 g/mol).
</span><span>The melting point of solid is defined as the temperature at which the solid exists in equilibrium with its liquid under an external pressure of one atmosphere.</span>
