Answer

Find out the what is the total length of the wood .

To prove

As given in the question the length of the five pieces of wood are

73 cm+ 1.6m + 2.87m + 325cm + 4.04m

As 1m = 100cm

    1 cm = 0.01m

73 cm is converted into meter = 73 × 0.01

                                                  = 0.73 m

325cm is converted into meter = 325 × 0.01 m

                                                  = 3.25 m

Total length of the length of wood = 0.73m + 1.6m + 2.87m + 3.25m + 4.04m

simply adding the above terms

Total length of the length of wood = 12.49 m

Therefore the total length of the wood is 12 .49 m .

Identify the coefficients: 7g + 2t - 17
AlekseyPX

Answer:

Coefficients:

7g = 7

2t = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Coefficients are the multiplicative numbers that preceed the variable. If a variable has no coefficient written, then that coefficient is 1 (symbol carried over).

Amy wants to run the 26 miles of the marathon in 4.5 hours. at what rate will she have to run to reach thisbgoal??
Molodets [167]
The answer is:
____________________________
5.778 mi/ h;
   → or;  write as:  5 ⁷/₉ mph {"miles per hour"}.
______________________________________
Explanation:
_____________________________________

We shall solve in miles ("mi.") per hour ("h");  denoted as "mi / h" ; or sometimes, "mph".
______________________________________

Given 26 mi / 4.5 h ; we want to solve for the number of miles (mi) per unit hour (h),
________________________________
The answer is (26/ 4.5) mi / h l
______________________________
26 ÷ 4.5 = 5.7777777777777778→       Round to:  5.778 mi/ h;
                                                                → or;  write as:  5  ⁷/₉ mi /h

What is the answer? trying hard here
kumpel [21]
You basically have to use the quadratic formula to solve this since there are no factors of - 9 which add to give 6.
x = \frac{ - b + - \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac} }{2a}
Then you use
a {x}^{2} + bx + \: c
To find which numbers will go into what place inside the quadratic equation.

So a = 1 (because x is alone)
b = 6
c = -9

Then you solve it. I've included a picture of how I did it and I got the answer x=-3+-3sqrt2
