Solution :

Given ,line that passes through the  pair of points (1,7) and (10,1)

The slope of the line passing through the points (x_{1},y_{1} ) \:and \:(x_{2},y_{2}) is given by,

                         m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Here,  (x_{1},y_{1} ) =(1,7)\:and \:(x_{2},y_{2})=(10,1).

\Rightarrow m=\frac{1-7}{10-1} \\\Rightarrow m=\frac{-6}{9}=\frac{-2}{3}

Hence , slope of the line passing through the pir of points (1,7) and (10,1) is \frac{-2}{3} ( first option)

Find an equation equivalent to r = 10sin ø in rectangular coordinates.
kherson [118]

Answer: x^2 + y^2 -10y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Cartesian coordinates, also called the Rectangular coordinates, isdefined in terms of x and y. So, for the problem θ has to be eliminated or converted using basic foundations that are described by the unit circle and the right triangle trigonometry.

r= 10sin(θ)

Remember that:

x= r × cos(θ)

y= r × sin(θ)

r^2= x^2 + y^2

Multiply both sides of the equation by r. This will give:

r × r = 10r × sin(θ)

r^2 = 10r × sin(θ)

x^2 + y^2= 10r × sin(θ)

Because y= r × sin(θ), we can make a substitution. This will be:

x^2 + y^2= 10y

x^2 + y^2 -10y = 0

The above equation is the Rectangular coordinate equivalent to the given equation.

If the temperature after 4.4 degree drop was -2.5 degrees Celsius what was the temperature at noon
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

1.9°C

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X be the temperature at noon and -2.5°C be the current temperature after the drop.

-We calculate temperature at noon as:

\bigtriangleup =t_o-t_n\\4.4=X--2.5\\\\X=4.4-2.5\\\\=1.5\textdegree C

Hence, the temperature at noon was 1.9°C

Solve for x in the following figure. Choose the appropriate result.
pickupchik [31]

Answer:

d

Step-by-step explanation:

all of the angles add up to equal 180 so we setup the equation as 45+3x=180

first you subtract each side by 45

135=3x

then you divide each side by 3 and get that

x=45
