The ratio of 3 would be the girls because its boys TO girls and there would be 120 girls because if theres 80 boys and the ratio is 2 then its going by 40’s. The total number of students would be 200.

Please help I am on number 1 please explain

A % is out of a hundred, so you don't need the %/100. Then, you wouldn't do cross multiplication, you would just divide 15/27. Remember, it would be 15/27  because it's percent markup, not the percent the price increased by. So, doing that simple calculation on a calculator you get 0.5555. This converted to a percent is just moving the decimal to the right twice, or multiplied by a 100. That would give you 55.55%, and that's your answer. Make sense?

Find the lateral surface area of this
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

A=157.07\ cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

The radius of a cylinder, r = 5 cm

Height of the cylinder, h = 5 cm

We need to find the lateral surface area of the  cylinder. The formula for the lateral surface area of the cylinder is given by :

A=2\pi r h

Put all the values,

A=2\pi\times 5\times 5\\\\=157.07\ cm^2

So, the lateral surface area of the cylinder is 157.07\ cm^2.

Elanso [62]

Answer: 0.0885

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : According to a recent Catalyst Census, 16% of executive officers were women with companies that have company headquarters in the Midwest.

i.e. p= 0.16

Sample size : n= 154

Now, the  probability that more than 20% of this sample is comprised of female employees is given by :-

P(p>0.20)=P(z>\dfrac{0.20-0.16}{\sqrt{\dfrac{0.16(1-0.16)}{154}}})

[∵ z=\frac{\hat{p}-p}{\sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}}]

=P(z>1.35)\approx1-P(z\leq1.35)=1-0.9115=0.0885  [Using the standard z-value table]

Hence, the required probability = 0.0885
