The price of the Xbox One after tax is $265

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

The price of a Xbox one is $250

The tax on Xbox one is 6%

Now, the tax of 6% on 250 is calculated as follows:-

=\frac{6}{100} \times 250\\\\=\frac{250 \times 6}{100}=\frac{1500}{100}=15

So, the tax on Xbox one is $15

The total price of box including tax can be calculated by adding price of box and tax on box

<em>Total price of Xbox after tax = actual price of the Xbox One  + Tax on the Xbox One </em>

= $250 + $15

= $265

Hence, the price of the Xbox One after tax is $265

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance of the missing side. (I’m sorry I need help with the whole thing)
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

1: 5.83

2: 4.12

3: 3.61

4: 5

5: 6.32

6: 5.10

Step-by-step explanation:

The Pythagorean theorem is a^2 + b^2 = c^2

For all of these you can count the number of blocks over to find two sides of the triangle.

For example: the first one has two sides, one is 3 units, the other is 5. To find the missing angle you square 3 and 5, then add that together. That is equal to 34. 34 = c^2. To get the c by itself, you then take the square root of 34. So the missing side (c) is equal to 5.83.

The polynomial of degree 4, P ( x ) , has a root of multiplicity 2 at x = 1 and roots of multiplicity 1 at x = 0 and x = − 2 . I
ICE Princess25 [194]

We want to find a polynomial given that we know its roots and a point on the graph.

We will find the polynomial:

p(x) = (183/280)*(x - 1)*(x - 1)*(x + 2)*x

We know that for a polynomial with roots {x₁, x₂, ..., xₙ} and a leading coefficient a, we can write the polynomial equation as:

p(x) = a*(x - x₁)*(x - x₂)...*(x - xₙ)

Here we know that the roots are:

  • x = 1 (two times)
  • x = 0
  • x = -2

Then the roots are: {1, 1, 0, -2}

We can write the polynomial as:

p(x) = a*(x - 1)*(x - 1)(x - 0)*(x - (-2))

p(x) = a*(x - 1)*(x - 1)*(x + 2)*x

We also know that this polynomial goes through the point (5, 336).

This means that:

p(5) = 336

Then we can solve:

336 = a*(5 - 1)*(5 - 1)*(5 + 2)*5

336 = a*(4)*(4)*(7)*5

336 = a*560

366/560 = a = 183/280

Then the polynomial is:

p(x) = (183/280)*(x - 1)*(x - 1)*(x + 2)*x
