Probability 1st card is a diamond.....13 diamonds in the deck....13/52 reduces to 1/4
replace
probability 2nd card will be black....there are 26 black cards.....26/52 reduces to 1/2
replace
probability 3rd card is an ace....4 aces in the deck...4/52 reduces to 1/13

probability for all of that happening : 1/4 * 1/2 * 1/13 = 1/104 or 0.0096 or 0.96%

Answer:

B. y + 7 = -6/5 (x+3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the given slope and point to substitute into the point-slope formula  y − y 1 = m ( x − x 1 ) .

Slope-intercept form:  y = − 6 /5 x − 53 /5

Point-slope form:  y + 7 = − 6 /5 ⋅ ( x + 3 )

(Brainliest for fastest right answer!!!) Which is correct?
zavuch27 [327]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

ax² + bx + c = a(x - x_{1})(x - x_{2})

D = b² - 4ac

x_{12} = ( - b ± √D ) / 2a

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let x² = y , then y² + 8y - 9
Find the roots of equation y² + 8y - 9 = 0
D = 64 + 36 = 100 = 10²
y_{1} = ( - 8 - 10) / 2 = - 9
y_{2} = ( - 8 + 10) / 2 = 1
y² + 8y - 9 = (y - 1)(y + 9) = (x² - 1)(x² + 9)
x² = 1 ⇒ x_{12} = ± √1
x^{4} + 8x² - 9 = (x - 1)(x + 1)(x² + 9)
