First you would need to add up all of the data given, then divide the sum by 9 because there is 9 pieces of data. So it would be 229/9=25.4444444 repeating.

Hello There!

Mean: Average of numbers in a set of data.

STEP 1: Add up all the numbers in the set of data. In this case, we would add

23 + 23 + 24 + 24 + 25 + 26 + 28 + 28 + 28 = 229

STEP 2: Divide the sum by the number of digits you added. We would divide

229 "sum of the numbers" by 9 "number of digits" and will get a quotient of

25.4444

-The mean for the set of data is 25.4444-

Is the set of numbers one 1,5,25 and 125 a geometric sequence
Strike441 [17]
Short answer: Yes.
Each member of the sequence is multiplied by 5 to get to the next member of the sequence.

Find the general equation.
tn = a*5^(n - 1)

Example
t4 = 1*5^(4 - 1)
t4 = 1*5^3
t4 = 125 just as the sequence shows.

t5 = 1^5^4
t5 = 625 Any member of the sequence can be found this way.
