The correct answer is 2.

You are clearly not getting any benefit or enjoyment out of jogging as you keep making excuses to not go, therefore the best course of action to improve your interest in completing some physical activity would be to try something else until you find something your enjoy doing and would be willing to engage with.

I would say b., mostly because it is good to have them know why they need to act in such a manner not just the "style" of which  the behavior is being done. Sometimes it is difficult for them to refine their behaviors, but it can produce progress
