If the ratio of red to blue marbles is 5:3 , and there are 15 red marbles, how many blue marbles are there?

Mathematics

5 0

Answer:

9 blue marbles

Step-by-step explanation:

I think the answer is 9 because if there are 15 red marbles and the ratio is 5:3, then 5*3=15; therefore, 3*3=9.

This is why the answer is 9 blue marbles.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

9

Step-by-step explanation:

The 5 part of the ratio relates to 15 red marbles.

Dividing by 5 gives the value of one part of the ratio.

15 ÷ 5 = 3 ← value of 1 part of the ratio, thus

3 parts = 3 × 3 = 9 ← number of blue marbles

Help I don't know how to do this<br>
Vilka [71]

Answer:

P(t) = 282.2(1.009)^t

Step-by-step explanation:

Look at the attached image.

Hope you can read my handwriting. the image cut off the right side, b = 1.009213324... but question asks to round to nearest thousandth so it's 1.009

For the second part just use the equation to find P when t = -1 and see if P is less than (underpredicts) the number from the question or greater than (overpredicts) the number. I haven't calculated it but I think it will be smaller and thus underpredicts just from looking at the numbers when t = -1
