It's not Africa because that continent does not own any other territories so it resigns only in the southern hemisphere. Oceania is not a continent so it is definitely not the answer. Asia cross to both the northern and southern hemisphere. The claim the title because in their name they own several out reaching lands and oceans. For example the dead sea. So they are not limited to their continent but reach(own) "The highest and lowest points".
Therefore your answer should be D. Asia

True or False: As a parcel of air ascends, it expands due to the reduced pressure around the parcel the higher it goes above the
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

The given statement about the air parcel is True

Explanation:

It can be explained as atmospheric pressure on air parcel is higher due to which it contracts when it is close to earth but if the temperature inside the parcel is more than that of the surrounding then due to low density it will rise upward and as the parcel gains height the air pressure exerted by the surrounding on the parcel reduces due to increase in height of the parcel from the earth and hence the air parcel expands. The entire process happens with heat being constant (adiabatic) i.e., amount of heat transferred in the expansion remains same.

Now, the same amount of heat is scattered on the expanded area leading the parcel to cool as it ascends.
