Iron has a density of 7.86 g/cm3 (1 cm3=1 mL). Calculate the volume (in dL) of a piece of iron having a mass of 3.26 kg . Note t
Mkey [24]
d=7,86\frac{g}{cm^{3}}=7,86\frac{0,001kg}{0,01dL}=0,786\frac{kg}{dL}\\
m=3,26kg\\\\\\
d=\frac{m}{V} \ \ \ \ \Rightarrow \ \ \ \ V=\frac{m}{d}=\frac{3,26kg}{0,786\frac{kg}{dL}}\approx4,15dL

What is the ΔG for the following reaction at 25°C?
ikadub [295]
\Delta G_{global}=\Delta G_{products}-\Delta G_{reagents}\\\\
\text{We should consider the stoichiometry:}\\\\
\Delta G=2\Delta G_{NO_2}-\Delta G_{N_2O_4}\\\\
\Delta G=2\cdot51.8-98.28=103.6-98.28\\\\
\boxed{\Delta G=5.32~kJ}

Wave crests in a pond are separated by 0.2 m. The period of these waves is 0.2 s. What is the speed at which these waves travel?
romanna [79]
The crest is cover distance. <span>The </span>speed<span> of a wave indicate how fast wave is moving. </span>T<span>he speed is the distance traveled by a crest in a given interval of time. Greater distance in same amount of time means wave travel faster.
speed of wave = distance/time.
speed of wave = 0,2 m </span>÷ 0,2 s = 1 m/s.
