<span>There are different types of mass movements. They are: 1. rockfall--free falling of rocks or debris of rocks from a steep cliff. 2. mudflow--commonly known as mud slides. This is another form of slope movement a proportion of clay and debris rapidly flow. 3.landslip/landslide--is a mass movement that involves a great range of ground movements. This can happen under water,at the coast or even on shore. 4. slump--happens along a curved surface over a short distance.5. soil creep--also known as downhill creep. What two types of amino acid sequences are needed in a protein to mediate post-translational farnesylation?
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

Post translation farnesylation may be defined as a type of prenylation in which the isoprenyl group is added to the cysteine residues of the protein. This modification is important for protein and membrane interaction.

Basically two types of amino acid are required for the farsenylation modification. The signal peptide sequence is the short amino acid sequence that targets the ribosome in the endoplasmic reticulum. The sequence is generally lysine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and leucine. The second sequence must be Caax (C is cysteine, a is aliphatic amino acid and X consists of C terminal amino acid.

Which term identifies the process used by the cell to remove large molecules?
GarryVolchara [31]

The right answer is Exocytosis.

In a eukaryotic cell, exocytosis is a mechanism of material release by invagination of the cytoplasmic membrane. It consists of a spillage of the products of a vesicle outside the cell, by fusion of the plasma membrane with the membrane of this vesicle.

Its opposite (or reverse) is endocytosis. In the case of a vacuole, see the exocytosis vacuole.
