If you add everything up then
14x-2=180
14x=182
x= 13

So the angles would equal
2(13)+1= 27
3(13)-3= 36
9(13)= 117
The angles are 27 36 and 117
Which makes the smallest angle 27 which is B.

You first have to know that the measure of the three angles of a triangle= 180 add the terms and equal them to 180 2x+1 + 3x-3 =9x= 180 14x-2 = 180 14x= 182 x=13 This is not what you are looking for, you need to substitute 13 in the original measures 2 (13) +1= 27 degrees 3(13) -3= 36 degrees 9 (13) = 117 degrees therefore the smallest angle is 27 degrees if you add all three angle measure it will = 180 degrees Hope this helps you

Is the answer<br> A.-6y=- 12<br> B.-6y=12 <br> C. -2y=-12<br> D.2y=12
polet [3.4K]

Answer:

The answer would not be A. It is B

Step-by-step explanation:

Because you are subtracting the equations, on the right side of the equal sign, you are subtracting -5 from 7. This is 7-(-5), which is equal to 7+5=12, not -12.

ipn [44]

Let's do this in steps, show your work!

<u>#1. We need to move all terms to one side.</u>

<u>x^2 - 7x = 0</u>

<u>#2. Then factor out the common term x.</u>

<u>x(x - 7) = 0.</u>

<u>#3. Simplify to get..</u>

<u>x = 0, 7.</u>

PLEASE HELP! The table shows the number of championships won by the baseball and softball leagues of three youth baseball divisi
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

Question 1: P ( B | Y ) = \frac{ P ( B and Y)}{ P (Y)} = \frac{ \frac{2}{16}}{ \frac{4}{16}} = \frac{1}{2}

Question 2:

A. P ( Y | B ) = \frac{ P(Y and B) }{ P(B) } = \frac{ \frac{2}{16} }{ \frac{6}{16} } = \frac{1}{3}

B. P( Z | B ) = \frac{ P ( Z and B)}{ P (B)}= \frac{ \frac{1}{16} }{ \frac{6}{16} } = \frac{1}{6}

C. P((Y or Z)|B) = \frac{ P ((Y or Z) and B)}{P(B)}= \frac{ \frac{3}{16}}{ \frac{6}{16}}= \frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Conditional probability is defined by

P(A|B)= \frac{P(A and B)}{P(B)}

with P(A and B) beeing the probability of both events occurring simultaneously.

Question 1:

B: Baseball League Championships won, beeing

P ( B ) = \frac{ 6 }{16}

Y: Championships won by the 10 - 12 years old, beeing

P ( Y)= \frac{ 4 }{ 16 }

then

P( B and Y)= \frac{ 2 }{ 16 }[/tex]

By definition,

P ( B | Y ) = \frac{ P ( B and Y)}{ P (Y)} = \frac{ \frac{2}{16} }{ \frac{4}{16} }  = \frac{1}{2}

Question 2.A:

Y: Championships won by the 10 - 12 years old, beeing

P ( Y)= \frac{ 4 }{ 16 }

B: Baseball League Championships won, beeing

P ( B ) = \frac{ 6 }{16}

then

P( B and Y)= \frac{ 2 }{ 16 }[/tex]

By definition,

P ( Y | B ) = \frac{ P(Y and B) }{ P(B) } = \frac{ \frac{2}{16} }{ \frac{6}{16} } = \frac{1}{3}

Question 2.B:

Z: Championships won by the 13 - 15 years old, beeing

P ( Z)= \frac{ 1 }{ 16 }

B: Baseball League Championships won, beeing

P ( B ) = \frac{ 6 }{16}

then

P( Z and B)= \frac{ 1 }{ 16 }[/tex]

By definition,

P( Z | B ) = \frac{ P ( Z and B)}{ P (B)}= \frac{ \frac{1}{16} }{ \frac{6}{16} } = \frac{1}{6}

Question 3.B

Y: Championships won by the 10 - 12 years old, beeing

P ( Y)= \frac{ 4 }{ 16 }

Z: Championships won by the 13 - 15 years old, beeing

P ( Z)= \frac{ 1 }{ 16 }

then

P (Y or Z) = P(Y) + P(Z) = \frac{6}{16}

B: Baseball League Championships won, beeing

P ( B ) = \frac{ 6 }{16}

so

P((YorZ) and B)= \frac{3}{16}

By definition,

P((Y or Z)|B) = \frac{ P ((Y or Z) and B)}{P(B)}= \frac{ \frac{3}{16}}{ \frac{6}{16}}= \frac{1}{2}

Use the chart below to answer the questions:Which of these countries has the greatest population density? Which has the least? P
Korolek [52]

<em>Answer</em>

Denmark has the greatest population density

Ghana has the least population density

<em>Step-by-step explanation</em>

To find the population density we have to divide the population of each country by its area, as follows:

\begin{gathered} \text{ Population density of Indonesia }=\frac{203,479,000}{1,904,569}\approx106.8\text{ }\frac{people}{sq\text{ }km} \\ \text{Populat}\imaginaryI\text{on dens}\imaginaryI\text{ty of Denmark}=\frac{5,248,000}{42,077}\approx124.7\text{ }\frac{people}{sq\text{ k}m} \\ \text{Populat}\mathrm{i}\text{on dens}\mathrm{i}\text{ty of Ghana}=\frac{18,339,000}{237,533}\approx77.2\text{ }\frac{people}{sq\text{ k}m} \end{gathered}
