Answer:

The correct answer will be

Case I

1. Constant variable- amount of water, amount of food, temperature and exercise wheel

2. Independent variable- amount of sunlight

3. Dependent variable- length of sleep

4. Data to be collected- length of sleep

Case II

1. Constant variable- amount of water, temperature, amount of sunlight and exercise wheel

2. Independent variable- amount of food

3. Dependent variable- weight of mice

4. Data to be collected-weight of mice

Explanation:

A scientific experiment is designed in a way that it must include three types of variable in the experiment:

1. Independent variable- The variable which can be changed or modified and influence another variable

2. Dependent variable- the variable which has to be studied in the experiment

3. Constant variable- the variable which is kept the same throughout the whole experiment.

In case I since the research was done to study how the amount of light affect the length of the sleep, therefore, the length of the sleep is being studied by changing the amount of sunlight and others kept constant.

Similarly, the case II study was done to study how the amount of food affect the weight of the mice, therefore, the amount of food must be changed to study the weight of mice and data must be collected for the weight of the mice.

What kind of motion for a star does not produce a Doppler effect? Explain.
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

Transverse motion does not produced a doppler effect for a star. As, the doppler effect are occurred when the object are emitting light either in the direction towards the observer or moving away. The various astronomical objects are moving and the observer observed the blue wavelength of the light.

Doppler effect in the star is the process when the observer moves towards the star then it seems like the star move towards the observer.

Three identical capacitors are connected in parallel to a battery. if a total charge of q flows from the battery, how much charg
muminat

Each capacitor carry the same charge 'q'.

Discussion:
The voltage from the battery is distributed equally across all of the capacitors when they are linked in series. The three identical capacitors' combined voltage is computed as follows:

V_{T} = V₁ +V₂ +V₃

This voltage may also be calculated using capacitance and charge;

V = Q/ C

V_{T} = V₁ +V₂ +V₃

Provided that the total charge is 'q', hence the total voltage can be expressed as:

V_{T} = (Q/C₁) + (Q/C₂) + (Q/C₃) = Q(1/C₁ +1/C₂ +1/C₃)

Therefore from the above explanation, it is concluded that each and every capacitor carry same charge 'q'.

A small ball of mass m is aligned above a larger ball of mass M = 0.63kg (with a slight separation) and the two are dropped simu
natta225 [31]
a) M is the big one
m is the little one

v is the speed of each of them when they impact

V = speed of mii after collision

Conservation of momentum

Mv – mv = mV

Conservation of energy

1/2Mv^2 + 1/2mv^2 = 1/2 mV^2

This pair simplify to give

M = 3m

V = 2v

So m = 0.21kg

and h = 4 . 2.7 = 10.8 mSource(s):Old teacher
