Benefits of abstinence for me:

-sticking to my belief system and values

-waiting until I meet the right person

-concentrating on my studies and extracurricular activities

-safety from risks of pregnancy and STIs

Pressures that might keep me from staying abstinent:

-my partner's desire to experiment with sex

-my need to please others instead of listening to myself

-fear that other kids would think I was too straitlaced to have sex
