The factors of 9 are 1, 3 and 9.
The factors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.
The factor of a and a^2 is just "a."

For coefficients, the common factors of 9 and 12 are 1 and 3 only. But the greatest common factor is 3.
For variables, the greatest factor is just also "a."

Multiplying these two factors, we get the answer: 3a

Orlov [11]

Answer:

4/12 and 6/18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the fraction 2/6

We are to write 2 different equivalent fractions that are the same as 2/6

To do this, we will multiply the numerator and denominator of the fraction by same constant. Multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 will give;

2/6 * 2/2

= (2*2)/(6*2)

= 4/12

Also multiplying by a value of 3

= 2/6 * 3/3

= (2*3)/(6*3)

= 6/18

Hence the 2 different equivalent fractions are 4/12 and 6/18

The population mean and standard deviation are given below. Find the required probability and determine whether the given sample
nataly862011 [7]

The probability of the sample is 0.5 or 50%

Explanation:

Given:

Mean, μ = 20

Standard deviation, δ = 1.3

Probability of sample being less than 20.1 = ?

P (x < 20.1) = 20.1 - μ / δ √n

P (x < 20.1) = \frac{20.1 - 20}{1.3\sqrt{61} }

                  = 0.0098

P( x < 20.1) = P(z < 0.0098)

P (z < 0.0098) = 0.5

The value of P is found out using a z score table.

Therefore, probability of the sample is 0.5 or 50%
