How does the distributive property work
1 answer:
Ok, lets start with the basics: the distibutive property is very simple once you get used to it! distibutive just means when you both multiply and add in the same problem( mostly with Peranthisys. lets start with a basic problem: 5(3+4) because you have the five bumped up against the peranthysys, you "distribute" the problem (you multiply 5 by the numbers present. for example, once you multiply, you should get this: 5(3+4) 15+20 all i did was multiply the numbers inside! now the Peranthisys disapear! now all you do is add! 15+20=35 35 is your answer. NOTE:This is just simple distributing, once variables get involved, it changes a little... Hope this helps!!!

6 divided by 2 and 1 forths is going to be 8 out of 3
-6 x 2 + 6 x 200. Since you want to find out 6 multiplied by 198 the easiest way (for me) would be to round it and then substract 12 since 200-198 is equal to 2 and 6 x 2 is equal to 12
Answer:

m= -1.8
X = 13 ( x + 4) / 51 = (2x - 7) / 57 585 = 45x 585/45 = 45x/45 x = 13
