Answer:

Formal Language:

- This is a serious problem.

- I hope to hear from you.

- Thank you for your time.

Informal Language:

- This is totally ridiculous.

- No way that's happening!

- You're the best!

Explanation:

We use Formal language when we are talking to people we do not know well, in formal situations and in academic speeches or texts. It is characterized by the use of complex sentences, lack of colloquial terms and the use of polite and formal expressions.

On the other hand, we use Informal language when we are talking to people we already know (our friends and family) in everyday situations. It's characterized by the use of simple and colloquial sentences, slang and lack of formal expressions and structures.

According to the Article, in what way were the students' experiences spending a day in wheelchairs and the lawmakers' experience
Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

B. The students and lawmakers both gained a better understanding of what life is like for people living with a mobility disability.

Explanation:

The article shows the initiative to promote a day when school students and legislators would experience spending a day in a wheelchair, like someone who has a physical disability. The idea was to promote the perception of how difficult the life of disabled people is and therefore demands empathy and public policies that promote accessibility and respect for these people, since their lives have motor limitations.

Through this initiative, students and legislators gained a better understanding of what life is like for people with motor disabilities.

Which explanation about "I explain a few things Best develops the speakers viewpoint that adversity only makes his compatriots s
Gemiola [76]
While I don't see anything written about the speaker's viewpoint, from experience I know that adversity will only make his compatriots stronger. As an example from experience, while working at an open pit mine in BC, Canada, my compatriot and I had to work 30 hours straight on a diamond drill hole which was causing problems. The hole was caving and the drill rods were getting plugged with bentonite which we used to seal the hole off to install piezometers ie instruments to measure water pressure in the hole. So we found a way to open the rods and use concrete mixed with bentonite to still seal the piezometers and succeeded in our endeavour so this was getting strong from adversity.
